I use avast pro and the upgraded version of Malwarebytes. Also for browsing I use Firefox with adblock and noscript for extra protection. Its always good to scan something you just downloaded, especially if it is a torrent from a non-trusted source. Virustotal.com is great for scanning suspicious files.

I like it. //Virustotal.com// is a powerful portal to help internet user to analyzed everything about computer virus or threat. VirusTotal is a service that analyzes suspicious files and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware detected by antivirus engines.
